The Service is a free calculator that estimates the potential cost and savings of solar panels, battery storage, EV charging, heat pumps and air conditioning for UK homes, based on the information you provide. An optional paid “Deep Dive” report (£9.99, one-off) adds a more detailed breakdown.

The Service provides estimates only. It is not a substitute for a professional survey, quote, or advice from a qualified MCS-certified installer, financial adviser, or tax adviser. Figures are based on the information you enter, general market data, and third-party sources (including government and manufacturer data) that may become outdated or may not exactly reflect your specific property or circumstances.

Grant and scheme eligibility: where the Service references government grants or schemes (e.g. the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, VAT relief), this is provided for general information only. Eligibility rules are set by the relevant government body, can change, and depend on your specific circumstances. Always confirm eligibility directly with the relevant scheme, an installer, or Ofgem before making a financial decision based on assumed eligibility.

• You sign in via a one-time “magic link” sent to your email. We don't use passwords.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how access to your account is controlled.
• You agree to provide accurate information where reasonably possible, understanding that the accuracy of your results depends on the accuracy of what you enter.

• Price: £9.99, one-off payment, no subscription.
• Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• The report is generated and made available as soon as payment is confirmed.
• Cancellation rights: under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. Because this report is delivered to you immediately, by ticking the confirmation checkbox at checkout and completing your purchase, you expressly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day cancellation right once the report has been provided. This confirmation is required before payment can proceed, and is also restated on the payment page and on your invoice.
• Refunds outside of the above may be issued at our discretion, for example in the case of a technical fault preventing you from accessing the report you paid for.

• The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that any estimate, saving, payback period, or grant eligibility shown will be accurate or achieved in practice.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from decisions made based on the Service's estimates, including but not limited to the cost of installations, missed grant eligibility, or inaccurate savings projections.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts or data
• Scrape, copy, or republish the Service's content or underlying calculations at scale without permission

The Service's content, design, and underlying calculation methodology are owned by [COMPANY NAME] unless otherwise stated. You may use results generated for your own personal purposes (e.g. taking them to an installer for a quote).

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
